Rachel Corrie was an American college student and activist who was killed while trying to prevent an Israeli bulldozer from demolishing a house in a Palestinian residential area. The details of the events are disputed. The Israeli Defence Force claims it was an accident; others claim she was run over deliberately. This is powerful and controversial: a politically provocative night in the theatre. A celebration of one young woman's moral strength and belief. It's a month after Stevie's car crash and 'Grumpop' has lost a grandson and Natasha has lost a brother. What really happened that night? Natasha wants to remember Stevie by finishing the project car he was working on before the crash. Grumpop is a retired mechanic and he could help but he just wants to put it all behind him.
Bob Baines (Home and Away) and Melanie Zanetti (The Little Dog Laughed) are joined on stage by a host of young performers adding dynamic physicality, character and unique perspectives on young people in cars... It's a funny and moving roller-coaster ride that will break your heart and mend it.
